Email and Database Server Outage

TechGether.net experienced problems with incoming email(s) on customer domains which included all MYSQL & MSSQL databases. This problem was due to a primary network card failure on server YUKON. Normal service was restored at 6:09 p.m.

Upgrades to Microsoft SQL 2005

TechGether.net has upgraded all MS SQL database servers with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 SP1.  All customer/reseller database(s) have be migrated to SQL 2005. The option of using SQL 2000 no longer exists. MS SQL service and SQL powered sites became available again at 3:05 a.m.

TechGether.net Incoming Email Issues

TechGether.net experienced problems with incoming email(s) on customer domains which include reseller domains.  Normal email delivery is now possible as this problem was corrected April 11, 2006.

TechGether.net Outage Due to Hurricane Katrina

TechGether.net service became unavailable on August 29, 2005 and was unavailable for approximately 40 minutes when at 5:30am CST our service was re-routed to an off-site datacenter. All TechGether.net services were later restored on September 3, 2005 at 11:30am.

TechGether.net MS SQL Server

TechGether.net upgraded the MS SQL database server to SP4.  This update took place at 1:50 a.m. and caused SQL Sites to be offline for a short time while server was restarted after install. MS SQL service and SQL powered sites became available again at 2:05 a.m.

TechGether.net MySQL Database upgrade

TechGether.net upgraded the MySQL databases servers to MySQL version 4.1.11-nt on servers TGDB1 and TGDB2. Downtime of 12 minutes was incurred while server replication and restart took place. MySQL service and databases were available again at 12:17 a.m.

TechGether.net Firewall Upgrade

Service became unavailable for approx 10 minutes while a new hardware firewall was installed on the network. Service was restored at 12:10am CST.

Windows Server 2003 - SP1

Servers rebooted after installation of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 SP1.  This caused services to be unavailable for 6 minutes during re-boot which was required by the software installation.

TechGether.net FTP Server Outage

Currently we are experiencing problems with connections to our FTP Server.  We have installed a new firewall update and this has caused FTP to become unstable at times. Our technicians are working on this and hope to have it resolved soon.
